Tenants are living with the consequences. It's time we were heard.
Across the city, tenants in rent-stabilized and market-rate housing are dealing with dangerous conditions and unresponsive management. This isn’t just about repairs, it’s about the way we’re treated: ignored, disrespected, and pushed out while landlords profit.
We’re organizing to change that.
We’re building tenant power to confront every part of the system, including the banks that finance these landlords. Our first target: Santander, now managing a large portfolio of rent-stabilized buildings after the collapse of Signature Bank.
Sign this petition to join tenants speaking out about conditions and demanding accountability, not just from landlords, but from the financial institutions behind them.
We'll be bringing the petition signatures and tenant testimony directly to Santander at a roundtable this fall. All tenant personal and contact information will be kept confidential by FTTU.
